was founded in June 2005, in order to promote the photographic
artwork of Margaret Courtney-Clarke.
Although Margaret's books on African tribal art
and Namibian sand dunes are widely acclaimed in Europe,
Africa. Japan and America,
this will be the first time her work receives
exposure to the UK market. Working in close collaboration
with the artist, we have carefully selected a portfolio
of photographs from her books called Ndebele, African Canvas
and Places in the Sand, to provide a large choice of
photographic images for the discerning African art lover.
In order to replicate the rustic texture of the artwork,
we have selected canvas, as the ideal medium to reproduce
the art. All the images displayed are copyright protected
and are only available from the African Prints website.
